The staff members are amazing they are very helpful and quick to respond. Great food, specially the fried rice and the devilled chicken/fish. An average pool except some of the tiles under the water are broken which led to some cuts and bruises. Overall a great experience would definitely recommend.Posted on Google

Mahesh De AlwisA really good hideout.Very romantic specially the tree houses. Great for young couples. Super outdoor pool very clean directly facing a beautiful lake. We had the privilege to observe a mother elephant and two baby elephants swimming across the lake. Staff was friendly but require a bit more improvement in their attire and appearance. Relaxed place, nice pool and food We had a great time at Lake Villa! The room in the treehouse was very cool and the dinner was tasty. The resort is in a quiet area and we could relax at the pool. ViktorAusgezeichneter, ruhiger Ort zum entspannen Sehr guter Service, ich wurde von der Bushaltestelle abgeholt und bei der Rückreise zum Busbahnhof nach Tissamaharama gebracht. Die angebotenen Safaris sind sehr gut organisiert, Frühstücksbox inklusiv. Das abwechslungsreiche singhalesische Frühstück und das am Morgen bestellte Abendessen waren hervorragend. Ein großes Lob an Koch Darin. Das Zimmer riesig, sauber mit Klimaanlage und TV, Badezimmer mit warmen Wasser. Die Anlage selber ist sehr gut gepflegt und wird täglich gereinigt. We have spent one morning with our binoculars just watching birds from the terrace and poolside. The staff arranged us a lake-view breakfast on the first morning, which was a nice surprise. The food was good, staff is friendly. Quiet and relaxed atmosphere. The pool is small, but nice for a swim. They provide pool towels. Marcell HA place which we can recommend This is definitely a place which we can recommend. We stayed here 3 nights in December 2019 and we liked it. There´s plenty sound of wildlife, mainly birds. We did 2 safaris, to Bundala and Yala. The safari trips were well organized. We visited the national parks in the Morning hours and saw elefants, a leopard, crocodiles, deer, monkeys, mungos, many birds, a jackal and warans. It´s worth the money I think, although I have imagined to see a more abundant wildlife. The staff is attentive and helpful, the swimming pool is well kept, the views to the lake are amazing. The rooms were clean and they got cleaned during the day. The AC was working well. Sometime the power went off for 2 hrs and it got hot after an hour. The restaurant is good but not outstanding. It has a nice open veranda. Main pain point was the waiting time. We were 5 people and the dishes came out one after another. The cook must have prepared them one at a time. French fries came out quickly. But my meal took 1,5 hrs from order to eat (that´s not acceptable). But the taste was really good. We had Spaghetti Bolognese, Deviled chicken (taste was outstanding good) and Chop Suey. The mango lassis we ordered we had to return, they didn´t match the taste we were expecting.
